MEET CECILIA MICHAEL
Meet Cecilia Michael, a 9 year-old powerhouse from Ohio who is ready to take the wrestling world by storm. Known for her strong will and witty sarcasm, Cecilia is not just your average third-grader. She's a lover of all things outdoors, and a natural-born wrestler.
From the moment her feet touched a wrestling mat, Cecilia knew she was born to wrestle. Starting in September 2022, after finding gymnastics and swimming not challenging enough, she quickly found her home at the Seasons Freestyle Wrestling Club AND the Brecksville Wrestling Club WHERE she trains tirelessly to hone her skills and achieve her dreams.
When she's not dominating on the mat, Cecilia loves to be outside, whether she's rollerskating, riding her bike, camping, or even playing with her chickens. Her zest for life and boundless energy keep her constantly on the move, exploring new adventures and having fun.
Cecilia's journey is just beginning, and she’s excited to share it with you. Follow along as she trains, competes, and grows both on and off the mat. Your support means the world to her, helping fuel her passion and drive for success.

Brecksville + seasons wrestling clubs
Cecilia’s regular training happens at her home club in Brecksville, Ohio.
Brecksville Wrestling Club provides Folkstlye wrestling, while Seasons Wrestling Club focuses on the Olympic style of wrestling for the USA.

Assad Academy
Cecilia attends Assad Academy camps to keep her skills on point. She will be at several this coming summer.
Assad Academy teaches wrestlers to have a growth mindset and to think outside the box. Wrestling is a form of art, and we have to learn to evolve from one day to the next.

Jordan Trained
Cecilia is thrilled to receive an invitation to Jeff Jordan's State Champ Camp Girls Weekend.
This intensive 3-day camp is for girls aiming to become state champions. Focusing on takedowns, Coach Jordan drills techniques until perfected. The camp pushes participants through intense drilling and live wrestling to build mental toughness and achieve their goals. With a no-frills approach, it focuses solely on eating, sleeping, and training to win.
